We hope you remember the lecture by the EU Ambassador to Russia at HSE in February! Back then, it was agreed to organise a visit by HSE students to the EU delegation — on the 20th of June it is the time! This will be the last visit to an institution this semester. The topic will be economic relations between Russia and the EU. We will discuss with two experts from the EU delegation, one on economic and trade relations, and the other one on energy relations! We are excited to hear your questions.
The Delegation of the European Commission to Russia was opened in Moscow in February 1991. The Delegation in Moscow is one of over 130 European Union Delegations around the world. The Delegation has the status of a diplomatic mission and officially represents the European Union in Russia. Ambassador is Markus Ederer. The European Union is made up of 28 Members States, has a population of around 506 million and is the largest trading bloc in the world.
